#prayforamazonia
This creative campaign was inspired by a powerful moment in recent history: When Notre-Dame Cathedral caught fire in 2019, the world watched in shock. In just a matter of hours, donations in the billions poured in—an overwhelming wave of global empathy and a desire to preserve a cultural icon.
The world is burning and this affects us all. Whether it's the Northernmost Corner of Russia, the Southernmost Spray of Italy or the entire Kingdom - we all burn when the lungs of our planet burn!
But while the world united to save a symbol of our heritage, another crisis continues to unfold—quietly, persistently, and with far greater consequences: the burning of our rainforests. The lungs of our planet are under constant threat, and yet, the response is tepid at best. Funding to preserve these vital ecosystems trickles in slowly, political action is limited, and public awareness remains low.
This campaign aims to change that.

The Idea
A striking visual designed to confront and provoke thought. At the center: a charred tree stump, the remains of a once-lush rainforest. Instead of branches, the stump holds the famous landmarks of various global cities—symbols of human culture and identity. These monuments stand in the middle of a scorched, dystopian landscape: ashes, smoldering ruins, and barren forest floors. Around them, animals flee—displaced by destruction, searching for a home that no longer exists.
The message is clear: If the rainforest falls, everything falls.
If we mourn for cathedrals, we must also mourn for nature. If we can unite to save stone and glass, why not also trees and life?
This campaign is a call—for empathy, for awareness, for action. It draws a line between the symbolic and the real, challenging us to care for the planet as fiercely as we care for the monuments we build upon it.

Apparell Design
The power of this idea lies not only in its emotional impact but also in its versatility. The key visual can be adapted to feature different cities and landmarks—from the Statue of Liberty in New York to the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin—making the message locally relatable while retaining its global significance. The campaign can take on multiple formats: poster series, digital animations, interactive web experiences, or even public art installations. It invites engagement—not only with the environmental crisis but with the way we collectively define and prioritize what truly matters.

Image Research
A main part of the project was the research of good imagery. Only a good and high-res imagery provided, I can present a result which is also satisfing. Therefore the visuals are created out of a punch of images.
