Mount Etna Gelateria

Good ice cream can be found in almost every corner of the world. But very good and healthy ice cream in combination with a well thought-out concept is again very rare! Mount Etna is an ice cream parlor chain in Italy. The name is dedicated to the famous volcano.

The corporate design of Mount Etna Gelateria brings together modern minimalism with the fresh vibrancy of handcrafted ice cream creations. The visual identity is clean, elegant, and full of character—designed to express the brand’s focus on quality, freshness, and creativity.

At the center of the brand is a minimalist one-line logo, crafted from a single continuous stroke. This distinctive line art is placed between two simple circles, evoking a sense of harmony and balance. The circles can be interpreted as abstract representations of ice cream scoops or moments of indulgence—subtle yet iconic. The overall look is sleek, modern, and highly recognizable.

Concept & Inspiration

The visual language is bright, fresh, and playful: each flavor is surrounded by floating natural ingredients—juicy fruits, crunchy toppings, aromatic herbs, or delicate chocolate shavings. These elements hover around the ice cream like they’re caught in a light breeze, adding a dynamic, almost weightless quality to the visuals.

The color palette is based on soft pastels complemented by bold accent tones, all inspired by real ingredients. This reinforces the artisanal, natural feel of the brand. A clean and modern typography system supports the design, creating a balanced and inviting overall aesthetic.

Mount Etna Gelateria stands for exceptional quality, innovative flavors, and a visual world that celebrates freshness and indulgence—with a style that’s contemporary, refined, and full of taste.

Webdesign

One thing you can't miss on a hot summer day is a visit to an ice cream parlor. But as already mentioned, there are countless of them. With the new design for the Mount Etna brand the decision should be much easier for people. The main aspect for me was to present the ice cream as tasty as possible but in a more unusual way. 

For this purpose I created special animations for each ice cream which can also be found on the website. Again a combination of all the ingredients of each ice cream.
